Dr. Rich Masek
About:
Dr. Rich Masek is the author of the first published CEREC marketing book, “Highly Esthetic CEREC Solutions” featuring CEREC dentistry from single unit to full cosmetic makeover cases. He also brought the C-Stat CEREC camera stabilization system to the world market in 1997. He is the first to win awards for esthetic CAD/CAM dentistry, accumulating 15 medals, including 5 Gold, over 4 consecutive AACD annual Smile Gallery competitions. Dr. Masek is a world recognized authority on the CEREC system, having worked clinically with all versions of CEREC for over 20 years and has published numerous articles on functional and esthetic CAD/CAM dentistry. He graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School in 1976 and maintains a private fee-for-service practice in San Diego, CA focused on Cosmetic and CEREC dentistry.
Dr. Masek is a 1992 Accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AAACD), a Fellow of the former Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America (FACDNA), Diplomate of the Academy of CAD/CAM Dentistry (DACCD) and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). He founded the San Diego based Dentistry By Design, Inc. training facility in 1993 to provide all levels of training for CEREC CAD/CAM continuing dental education. Dr. Masek is the immediate past President of the Academy of CAD/CAM Dentistry and has served as president of the Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America and vice president of the International Society of Computerized Dentistry.
